There are two of us working today, aside from the baker (who in addition to baking does dishes, gets things ready for the next day, etc. and generally doesn’t help customers unless it gets busy enough that he has to, since that’s technically not his job). While I’m working the drive-thru, Customer A walks into the store, followed about 30 sec behind by Customer B. A’s still waiting on someone, so he stands to the side and waves B ahead of him. Coworker starts helping B. The person A was waiting for soon arrives, and A walks up to the counter and just starts telling his order to my coworker, who is very obviously still in the middle of helping B, as A told her to! Hearing A try to insinuate himself back into the front of the line, the baker finishes up what he’s doing and comes to the front to help A, and then A starts rattling off his entire long order with hardly a breath and absolutely zero time for the baker to do more than start grabbing the first part of the order (which wasn’t even a single thing but an entire two dozen doughnuts!)

Luckily A (or the rest of his party, either) didn’t get an attitude (at least not enough for me to notice, since I was focusing on my own customers and could barely spare half an ear on the walk-in ones), but that’s still so annoying and rude. Why would you act like that? I’m honestly about half surprised he didn’t try talking to me before the baker started helping him because clearly already being in the middle of something obviously doesn’t mean anything.

Hey, guys! It's ME! I'm driving the bus today because there was no way I was going to attempt to make sense of this very sims party! As you can see, Anissa is prepared to TURN UP and is quite proud of what they've done. Let's meet the guests, shall we?

First up, we got Olivia Kim-Lewis-Talla. Say that five times fast! She is married to Duane Talla of Sulani. They have three children and live in Windenburg (I think). We've met their oldest before. She is Noemi's new friend. Olivia is still a princess and got that man working double time to maintain the lifestyle she's accustom to. Is anyone going to tell her that her parents were actually broke and her daddy worked in Rodney's restaurant? 😅

Next, we have Aleah Baker. She's practically a saint and adopted an orphan the day after her young adult birthday. At least that is the only logical reason for her having a teenage daughter as a young adult (she's around Nate's age) without ever being pregnant lol. MCCC never told me about that one. Anyway... She raised her on her own until she met her now husband, Waylon. The daughter, Alessandra, is a friend of Noemi's. We also know Aleah's parents since they frequent Rodney's restaurants. They're the people who asked him what they ordered last time lol.

This is Waylon, Aleah's husband. They live in Glimmerbrook, and for a long time it was the three of them. He's been a great dad to Alessandra and treats her like his own blood. He and Aleah recently decided to expand their family and have two small children together. If you think he looks familiar, you're right! We met him loooooooong time ago when Melany and Anissa were young pups at Britechester. He was the handsome stranger who wanted to play pong with them, and one of the few sims I allowed to be bald lol.

Finally, Duane Talla, everybody. Very unfashionably late too. He's come a long way from being that nice young man on the island. Frankly, he's a bit too relaxed for my tastes lol. You'll see...

Olivia brought all that princess energy and had Anissa plotting evil plans in her head. Y'all see that hand? She had to snatch it back lol. Something about the house being quaint. I was just the photographer lol.

Jorden was looking at Aleah like this all night. Lovestruck says he had an instant attraction. (sigh) Anissa had an instant attraction with Waylon, but I was not surprised lol.

It was all fun and games until Olivia opened her mouth again. Something about it must suck having to work.

If you thought she had a problem keeping her thoughts in her head, get a load of this. As soon as Duane arrived, girlfriend tried to steal Anissa's Lin-Z! In front of everyone! Aleah was appalled at her behavior, but Duane did absolutely nothing. Why are all my Dwaynes ultra passive men?? 😂

Anissa needed a distraction at this point before she actually laid hands on that child. Luckily, Waylon caught her attention. He hit her with the, "Heeey, I know where I know you from." They talked about their time at Britechester, and of course at some point he hit her with the, "Hey, whatever happen to your friend? The famous one." As if you don't know. 😑

This party needed some life. And they weren't hitting the milestones, so I tried to get them all to grab drinks for an easy win. Instead, they grabbed food instead. Weird. Oh well. At least it got them all at the table to get to know each other. Anissa took pleasure in Olivia's embarrassment.

Waylon also couldn't believe Olivia tried to steal and was very uncomfortable being around her. Duane still said nothing and acted like he didn't see it.

Anissa and Jorden were able to grab drinks. When I tell you this man stayed in Aleah's face all night!! I kept telling him not to get in trouble.

If you're wondering, yes, Anissa noticed. No, she did not appreciate it.

I couldn't take anymore, so I ended the party lol. You know this situation will come up again sometime in some form, so don't worry lol. We'll get to the bottom of it!

Hogan's Heroes Characters When You're Sick

(I was sick the other week and a bunch of my HH friends currently are, so here is this 🥺)

Colonel Robert Hogan

★ Lays you down right away or at least has you sit, asking you directly what you need- or heck, just what you want. If you ask for a lot, teases you that he's not a miracle worker but of course you end up with everything you mentioned.

★ Get hot? He'll help you remove an extra layer or two. "This is my favorite part," the colonel teasingly murmurs in your ear, pressing a kiss to your cheek.

★ Conversely, if you get cold, he’ll lend you his robe. Only his- nothing else will do.

★ He also gently brushes back any hair that may obscure your forehead to lay the back of his head along the skin and check your temperature.

★ “What do you want me to do,” he asks with that mischievous, teasing smile, “Read you a bedtime story?” “Yes.” “…All right. I do have a novel we both might like.” “Is it something that would’ve had to be smuggled into a POW camp?” “Course. If Klink saw this, he’d have it confiscated for his own entertainment.”

Corporal Peter Newkirk

★ May suggest some sexual healing- feel free to swat him or lob a tissue box at him, he knows he deserves it.

★ Immediately makes up for this by getting you whatever you want and sitting by your side to keep you entertained, not leaving unless you fall asleep.

★ Murmurs 'that's a good boy/girl' when you take sips of the soup, tea, or medicine he brings you.

★ Pretends to burn himself on your thermometer, grinning like a dork down at you as he waves his hand.

★ “You don’t need a pillow, love! Watch this!” Laying down, he proceeds to pull your head down against his chest. You can’t protest when the rhythm of his heartbeat is so soothing to your aching head.

Sergeant James Kinchloe

★ Such a tease if you are too stubborn to take medicine. Just smiles and tells you "I'm not going to leave until you take it." So gentle about it though. "See, that wasn't so bad, now was it?" Lightly pats your cheek before getting up to set the bottle down.

★ So good with the rougher side of symptoms. He can handle taking away your tissues or the tougher descriptions of what’s going on with nods, sympathy, and strength.

★ Puts songs or stories on the radio for you to listen to if he needs to leave for any reason.

★ When he returns he reads to you, his voice low and soft with every word. His gaze slides between the page and back up to you, which brings a smile to his face.

★ His favorite thing to do is just hold your hand, running his thumb softly over the back of it, or to run his fingers through your hair as he sits by your side.

Corporal Louis LeBeau

★ Insists you don’t lift a finger. He is more than capable, after all.

★ So gentle with you as he helps you sit up, applies any remedies you may want or need, tucks you in, all with the softest eyes.

★ Overdramatic in his disposal of things like used tissues, handkerchiefs, and the like, but at least he brings a laugh about with all his expressions and avoidance of touching it all!

★ Makes you a lovely bowl of soup and insists you take the whole thing because it's good for you and he wants to see you strong again as soon as possible. Will, of course, hand feed it to you if he must (or even if not because he enjoys taking care of you).

★ Another of his favorite solutions to get you warmed up is drawing a hot bath. One which he is glad to either share with you if you're feeling right for it or just sit by your side and help you through the motions of.

Sergeant Andrew Carter

★ "Oh, I learned all about that when I was studying for pharmaceuticals. They make stuff for that. And, see, the reason it works is because it actually stops everything in there attacking from spreading. It's this really neat process where the- wait, let me go get your medicine!"

★ Lends you his fuzzy slippers because they help, alright? If nothing else because they're fun and fun takes your mind off of things and it might feel better if you're thinking about something else.

★ "How's the bed? Too hot? Too high? Too low? Is the soup ok?" You may have to shut him up with a kiss or embrace of thanks, but he worries about you, all right?

★ Reads to you from his comic books, making sure to turn them toward you between every page so you can see them, too.

★ His eyes go wide when you ask him to take off your shirt; you have to chuckle and take his hand as you tell him don’t worry, you’ve got something else on beneath your pajamas, you’re just hot.

Sergeant Richard Baker

★ "No can do," he says the moment you protest his care, scooping you up and carrying you to rest if he has to.

★ Good with his hands as he is, Richard is more than capable of crafting all sorts of remedies for you, be they tying a heat or ice pack to you or making you something hot to drink just the way you like it.

★ Turns on a radio show for you and sits by your side, imitating the characters or trying to guess with you what's going to happen until your smile returns.

★ Teases you when you pout for a kiss. “I’m not catching that!” Proceeds to still give you a kiss.

★ The best masseuse if your muscles ache- his hands are big and strong but gentle, too, easing the pain and tension from your body slowly and warmly.

Colonel Wilhelm Klink

★ Doesn't just lay you down, lays by your side. If you are to remind him he could get sick he will simply cite the strong constitution of him and his entire family with a proud glow and a playful gleam in his eye.

★ He simply will not be parted from you; wild horses could not drag Wilhelm Klink from your side. Which, by the way, is a direct quote from him to you as you lay in bed together.

★ Tells you about this plaster he got from a prisoner once. He's convinced it'll help you, but you're fine with the usual healing oils. If anyone is going to be soft, reverent even, as they apply them, it's him.

★ “I know how miserable you must be-” “Not with you here,” you tell him, and boy does that soften his face and raise a wide, loving smile instantly!

★ Checks your temperature by cupping your cheeks, pulling you in to rest his forehead against yours.

Sergeant Hans Schultz

★ His eyes go wide and you can see a moment of panic flash across his face. His hand twitches up and you catch the moment he resists covering his face.

★ He’s a caretaker by nature, though, so once he snaps out of that brief stupor he’s offering you a million different options, one of which will just be cuddles. Remind him he was just scared of catching it a moment ago and he flushes, telling you "I got over it."

★ Brings you breakfast in bed... to share, of course! But yours is on its own tray with a little vase and a flower.

★ Helps you change, brushes your hair, and makes sure you’re comfortable and feeling good about yourself in a time when you might feel your worst.

★ Gives you little forehead kisses after each moment of care.

General Albert Burkhalter

★ The type to probably ask 'if it's really that bad' when he first finds out you're sick.

★ But once he does he tells you not to move “And that’s an order.” He’s serious about what he says, but of course he still gets a cheeky little smile on his face when he says it.

★ Doesn't know how to cook himself but will make someone else make you something and then bring it to you.

★ Stops by to fluff your pillow and prop your feet back up. "Comfortable?"

★ If things go so far as needing the presence of a doctor, the general insists on getting you the finest physician in all of Berlin- no one else will do for you!

Major Wolfgang Hochstetter

★ ‘Who did this to you’ energy. He asks how it happened as if you’re going to know and he’s going to be able to punish the germs somehow.

★ Has no clue what to do honestly. Will do better if you direct him or ask him for specific things.

★ Scary dog privilege unlocked- the major will give anyone who dares attempt interrupting your sleep or disturbing you in any way absolute hell.

★ “I just want company.” “You want what?” “You. Just sit with me for a little bit, please,” you reply, laying a hand over his. “Oh,” he flushes, “V- very well. I will stay.”

★ A smile creeps slowly across his face as your eyelashes flutter shut and your head droops onto his shoulder.

Colonel Rodney Crittendon

★ Covers you in blankets, not stopping even if you protest you’re hot until you’ve already been tucked in.

★ Naturally recommends tea as a remedy. He does have a point about this given its medicinal nature- after all, tea with honey and lemon is great for your throat, ginger tea helps with pain and nausea, lavender helps you relax and maybe even fall asleep with him by your side.

★ Considers pacing outside your door with a rifle like a literal guard when you nap, but the closer the better, right? Definitely a tactical decision and not an excuse to cuddle up to you.

★ Flushes bright red when you ask him to help you remove your layers, shakily going to work and avoiding meeting your eyes until you physically tilt his gaze back up and tell him it's alright.

★ Tells you all kinds of stories of his military exploits as you drift off to sleep.

Gonna be honest , I dont know how many more times I can handle being asked "How many donuts come in the dozen box?" daily.

Some shops do a standard 12 in a dozen, while other do what's known as a "bakers dozen" that has 13 in it. If I didn't know better I would say this is why.

But this morning I had a guy ask me if we're open (not my lane but the whole store) while he was in my line (full cart) with people behind him. He interrupted me while I was ringing up the guy ahead of him.

So no, People are just fucking stupid.
